Long-Term Programs for In-depth Learning

Residency programs are long-term partnerships between AECSD and local schools. Our professional Teaching Artists work directly with students in the classroom in weekly lessons that bring consistency and depth to the arts learning process. Students learn a variety of arts concepts, vocabulary and techniques, while also cultivating imagination, critical thinking and other crucial life skills needed to succeed in today's world.

Discrete Arts (single art form education)
Arts Integration (connecting an art form to another academic area)
STEAM (connecting inquiry-driven arts lessons to STEM standards)
Arts Intervention (arts supporting social/emotional skills)
